Delivery & Placement of Totem Pole at Emily Carr University
Can Ridge Industries Mobile Crane, Industrial Moving and Transportation Divisions took part in the delivery and placement of a cedar totem pole, to be exhibited at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Emily Carr University is situated on unceded, traditional and ancestral xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) territories.
The totem pole was carved in Northern BC, where it was crated to ensure safe delivery for transportation to the university. Once the pole was transported to the university, it was then carefully rigged for lifting onto the second floor balcony where it was intercepted by the Can Ridge Industrial Moving Division and placed onto rolling carts for transportation inside the Aboriginal Gathering Place (AGP) at Emily Carr University for display.
We would like to thank Space at Work Design Consulting Inc. for choosing Can Ridge Industries to handle the transportation and industrial moving of this unique item.
