Can Ridge Industries Ltd. is currently seeking a Journeyman Commercial Transport Mechanic to join our growing team of dedicated employees. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Commercial Trucks and Trailers, Gravel Trucks and Trailers, and Crane Trucks. The key responsibilities are intended as a general overview of the position. Specific duties not expressly stated below may be required as logically related to the position.

Commercial Transport Mechanic
Responsibilities Include
- Truck equipment installation, repair and servicing
- Adhere to Can Ridge Industries Ltd.’s established policies and procedures
- Interpret work orders and technical manuals
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures
- Documenting work performed including daily records and maintenance reports
- Test repaired equipment to ensure that the work meets manufacturers’ standards
- Perform daily safety checks
- Maintain a clean work area including tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Journeyman certification
- CVI certification
- Air breaks endorsement required
- Valid BC Driver’s License
Requirements
- Welding experience an asset
- 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Detail Oriented
- Dependable and punctual
- Commitment to Can Ridge Industries Ltd. safety standards
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
